http://tinyurl.com/MinisterialHealing "Hello, My name is Ralph Fucetola, JD, and I am a Trustee and Counsel of the Natural Solutions Foundation and an ordained minister. Throughout the United States there is a movement in State Legislatures, we believe well-funded and well-coordinated, to bring all "alternative" health modalities under government supervision. This process has continued for several decades, beginning with the legalization of chiropractic and acupuncture, and continuing today with various state dietician monopoly laws, massage therapist regulations, and now bodywork licensing in several states. During the Summer of 2013, in New Jersey, as an example, the existing State Massage and Bodywork Board sought to extend its regulatory power to include "energy work" which includes even the lightest touch. Healing Touch has been part of religious ministration since before the founding of the United States. We do not believe that government should interfere with such expressive association activities. Historically the Ministerial Healing Arts have been exempt from the various State Medical Practices Acts. That exemption should be "read into" all of the other, more recent health care licenses where such explicit exemption was not included, to save those laws from unconstitutionality. I urge you to take thes Action Item above and share it with everyone you can reach who practices any type of healing, is consecrated in any tradition which venerates healing and anyone who venerates the Constitutional separation of Church and State. Thank you for your committment to freedom." Rev. Ralph Fucetola JD, Trustee |
